The Chartron and Trebuchet Saint Romain 2017 offers aromas of fresh fruits, almost exotic. Notes of sour white fruits followed by vanilla hints appear. This wine showcases a very fresh attack with a nice roundness. The mid-palate has a mineral character with flavours of flint and stone. The finish is lively with yellow fruits, peach and pink grapefruit. Chartron et Trebuche was founded in 1984 by the long established Burgundy winery Moillard-Grivot. From one vintage to another, Chartron et Trebuchet established its signature and built a solid reputation for quality. Strengthened by this knowledge, the Maison then spread its range to red burgundy wines with the will to respect and perpetuate the image of this great Burgundy wine producer. The wines are often described as fascinating complexity, unique, excellence, high quality and elegant refinement.
