Tim Adams Skilly Ridge Riesling 2022

The 2022 Skilly Ridge Riesling is the 6th release of this special wine from another outstanding vintage. The core of the wine is built by citric fruit ( lemon, lime, grapefruit), with layers of white flowers and perfumed notes. An excellent example of Clare’s grip on the best of Australian Riesling. Grosset Alea Riesling 2024

This is the fifteenth vintage of the ‘European’ style from the Grosset Rockwood Vineyard with its hard red rock and poor orange/red loam soil. This delivers impressive depth of flavour in the mid-palate, pronounced lime and lemony flavours that are intense and deep, finishing almost bone-dry with purity and finesse; same variety, yet a quite different and fascinating alternative to Grosset Polish Hill. Dukes Invitation Range Frankland River Riesling 2022

Sourced from one of the great sites in Frankland, Swinney Vineyard, we are ecstatic to work with this exceptional fruit from old vines planted on deep ironstone clay and gravels. Meticulously farmed, harvested at night, the floral lift and fine acidity characteristic of the Frankland region was beautifully captured in this wine. Light hay, sparkling green edges; aromas of lime, jasmine, honeysuckle, green pineapple; palate of finger lime, Meyer lemon meringue, juicy, ethereal, rain on wet slate finish.

Irvine Spring Hill Riesling 2024

A dry, aromatic Eden Valley riesling that is fresh on the palate, but distinctive in its light texture and  length. A food friendly wine that classically pairs well with sushi or lightly dressed shellfish like prawns, oysters or crab. It can also be fantastic as a  counterweight to richer, fattier dishes like pork belly, a creamy chicken casserole or fish and chips. Lightly  pickled vegetables, or a young goat’s cheese would be  a good vegetarian option.
