Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. Situated in the picturesque Yarra Valley east of Melbourne, the steep, close-planted vineyards of Coldstream Hills have become a signature of the region. Mandala Sands Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2024

A beautiful blend of fruit from Gruyere and Wandin in the Yarra Valley. Predominantly MV6 clone, the fruit from Wandin originates from 40 year old vines on own roots. A portion of the fruit was whole bunch fermented to improve structure and elevation of aromatics alongside whole berry open ferments gently plunged daily and pressed to a mixture of barriques and puncheons (approx. 20% new oak). The wine was matured for 11 months in 40% new French oak barrels

Despite the delayed harvest caused by the cooler growing season, we were fortunate to have a mild summer with just a few hot days that allowed our fruit to mature gradually. Consequently, our wines boast complex and elegant flavours, fine tannins, and beautiful natural acidity.

Phi Lusatia Park Pinot Noir 2023

PHI is the 21st letter of the Ancient Greek alphabet and symbolises balance, harmony and proportion. In a similar way, the third and fourth generations of the De Bortoli family are working together to create considered single vineyard wine that gives proportion to climate, soil and maker. Lusatia Park vineyard was first planted in 1985 and has been the source of some of the finest pinot noir and chardonnay made in the Yarra Valley.

De Bortoli Single Vineyard A7 Chardonnay 2018

Carefully nurtured from vine to glass, this single vineyard chardonnay release represents the pinnacle of the De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate. Produced from a south east facing site vineyard planted in 1991 that was selected for producing a particularly delicate style of chardonnay.

Mandala Sands Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2024

A mixture of chardonnay clones P58, 76, 96 and 95. The juice was cold settled then transferred to a mixture of new (20%) and old French oak. The wine was allowed to rest in oak for approximately 10 months after which time, all barrels were heavily scrutinised to create a wine highlighting the multi layered complexity through the diversity of clonal material.
