Mediterranee is an IGP title covering wines made on the southeast coast of France, roughly corresponding to the Provence wine region, as well as a part of the Rhone Valley. The wine was sourced solely from Provence in the shallow, schist and silty soils of the foothills of the Massif des Maures on sunny hillside slopes. Harvested at night with short skin maceration, pressing and thermoregulated fermentation - traditional temperature controlled vinification in stainless steel. Although many bottles are made, focus on quality and terroir has not been lost.
