An elegant blend of grenache, shiraz, mourvedre, carignan and cinsault. These varieties are historically grown in the southern Rhone Valley of France and have a natural affinity for the Barossa Valley.
Rated 94 points by James Halliday:
"Grenache, shiraz, mourvèdre, carignan and cinsaut from very old and younger vineyards, the components partially co-fermented and soon blended to protect the vibrantly and supple mouthfeel the wine always has. The tannins are ultra-fine, the finish long and fresh."
