The 2018 Local Vineyard Series Chardonnay is aromatically intense and complex with grilled citrus, white fleshed stone fruit, hints of spice and fresh picked nuts and burnt match and gun flint all fighting for attention. The palate on this wine is textural and concentrated with a seamless acid line holding the wines shape and providing drive and line. White stonefruit and grapefruit citrus flavours are complimented with layers of texture from barrel fermentation and time on lees all flowing through the mouth with a refreshing finishing thanks that hallmark Yarra Valley acid line.
