Since 1973, Wolf Blass have created 42 vintages of their Black Label – and the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Malbec is truly remarkable. In typical Black Label style, the varietals and regional characteristics of the wine is blended to create power and elegance, with lingering fruit and smooth, structural tannins.

Designed to be enjoyed now, it would be perfect with a traditional roast rib of beef with horseradish and yorkshire puddings. Or, if you’re more of a herbivore, try an aged cheddar with fig and walnut sourdough.

While their heartland is firmly based in the Barossa, Wolf Blass know the value of sourcing South Australia’s best grapes.
