”Planted on the Abbey vineyard at Tarrawarra in 2015. A combination of whole berries and whole bunches; racked to 500L French oak casks for 6 months. Vibrant crimson. Reminiscent of cru Beaujolais with its aromas of dark cherries, satsuma plums, violets and spice. Medium bodied and very nicely weighted, this has excellent depth whilst remaining light on its feet at the same time. Finishes long with crunchy, perfectly judged chalky tannins. A joy to drink.”
