Eagles Rest is nestled 180m to 240m above sea level in the foothills of the Broken Back range and is one of the highest altitude vineyards in the Hunter Valley. 2016 was a cool, wet year in the Hunter and while reds struggled, conditions were perfect for Semillon. This is a single block wine made from the winemakers pick of the fruit off the vineyard. Wild botanicals on the nose and powerful citrus fruit on the palate. This wine has length, line and an acid structure.
