”A combination of Gingin and Dijon clones. Light bâtonnage and some mlf. Matured in French oak (20% new). This is very good. The fruit flavours (owing to the blend of clones) show the full spectrum: from apples to stone fruit, pineapple to curry leaf, a melange of citrus and everything in between. The pronounced acidity in the mouth (thanks to both the blend of clones and the region) is softened by the barrel work and partial mlf, leading to a creamy, taut, spicy, citrus-laden wine, with briny acidity woven throughout. As I say: very good.”
