This Heirloom Vineyards Pinot Noir was produced from our best Adelaide Hills Vineyard. Hand tended vines, sorted bunch by bunch, naturally open fermented, basket-pressed and stored in well seasoned first use French oak for 9 months. We know now after a decade that this vineyard's wines hold consistency and staying power and are slow to evolve, even though they have an undeniable beauty when young. The perfect occasion to drink this wine is when you are served a beautiful dish of duck, or when the sun shines on a mild day in the cooler seasons.
