The grapes for this wine are sourced from six family owned, certified organic vineyards. The Barich family on the Murray River at Loxton, the Strachan family in McLaren Vale, the Palena family in the Riverland and the Carypidis family in Virginia have been the long term growers and the backbone of this wine. Since 2018, we have also sourced grapes from the Strachan family at Renmark and our own vineyard at Waikerie.

”This GEN Shiraz is part of Yalumba's organic range. Sourced from the Riverland, it shows a little density and weight. Dried herbs, plums, licorice and blackberries are the drivers. Sprinkled with black pepper, an earthy surge sits at the core. Long and drying, puckering tannins come in the shape of cocoa and brick dust. It's a solid Shiraz that is well priced. Drink to five years.”
