It's a character-filled riesling with a strong sense of citrus in its varied forms, from pure lemon-lime zestiness through to crystallised, preserved, sugared peel, lemon blossom and even lemongrass characters involved. Lots of texture and concentration here, touches of nutty/yeasty savouriness to taste. You could almost say a richer style, medium weight for sure, with appealing intensity and drive of minerally acidity in tow. This ups the ante for serious riesling and delivers a very appealing and complex expression.”
