Leconfield Coonawarra was established by noted oenologist Sydney Hamilton (1898-1987) when in 1974, at an age of 76 years, he selected 30 ha of fine ‘Terra Rossa’ country in the southern half of the Coonawarra strip. This plot comprised some of the area’s richest Terra Rossa soil over limestone, a composition for which Coonawarra is famous. Single batch, single vineyard. The 2022 Leconfield Coonawarra Cabernet Franc shows an earthy complexity with a touch of dried sage. Oak plays a subtle understatement to the fragrance of the fruit. With a round, long, textured palate that is persistent, elegant, silky and creamy.
The Ulithorne Dona GSM 2019 features musky cherry perfume on the nose. These faintly herbal aromas continue on the palate, although soft, fleshy and sweet edged fruit is the main them with light tannings providing some grip.
The Dragonfly Cabernet Merlot is an expression of the deep dark fruit characters attained from the Ferguson region, rich and smooth with lashings of chocolate.
There is no greater kinship than the bond shared by brothers. In 1922, the SS Omar sailed from Naples to Fremantle, reuniting Cesar Credaro with his brother, Olympio. Leaving behind post war Italy, they pioneered new lives farming the lands of South Western Australia. Enjoy with your own siblings, brother from another mother or sister from another mister and appreciate the bonds you share.
Sidewood's award winning, cool-climate shiraz, sourced from high altitude vineyards across the Adelaide Hills. Estate grown, fruit is sourced from Oakbank, Echunga, Charleston and Nairne to provide 12 clones of shiraz in the final blend. A complex, layered and delicious example of cool climate shiraz.
Unlike most red wines, this joven style of tempranillo is pressed off skins midway through fermentation. This early pressing prevents the extraction of bold and harsh tannins that are typical to tempranillo from the skins into the wine, resulting in a plush, juicy, and endlessly drinkable style of red wine. A short time maturing in seasoned French oak, before early release preserves the fresh and intensely red-fruited character of this wine.
