Fetherston Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2021

The 2021 Fetherston Chardonnay is a spectacular single vineyard wine from Swallowfield Vineyard, Gembrook.  The fruit is all hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed and fermented wild (indigenous yeast) in ultra-tight grain, French oak puncheons. Minimal fining and handling has resulted in an incredibly pure, bright and energetic Chardonnay, displaying citrus, white flowers, white peach and integrated spice elements. Lightly chill for perfect summer alfresco dining with friends.

Fetherston Yarra Valley Syrah 2018

The 2018 Fetherston Syrah stems from a single parcel from the acclaimed Tibooburra Vineyard, Yellingbo. The block’s south-westerly aspect and elevation of almost 250m, make it one of the coolest sites for Syrah in the Yarra Valley. This allows for exceptionally long hang-time, complex flavour development, high natural acidity and intense, ripe tannins. The stellar 2018 season delivered a wine of great finesse and intricacy, with flavours of blood plum, white pepper, granite and array of spice notes from both fruit and the highest quality French oak puncheons. The perfect wine to enjoy in front of a warming fire.
