E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2021

E. Guigal is a highly acclaimed winery and négociant business located in Ampuis, in the northern Rhône region of France. Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, the estate gained international recognition under his son Marcel Guigal, who took over in 1961. Today, the third generation, Philippe Guigal, continues the family's dedication to quality winemaking.

Rosemount McLaren Vale GSM 2018

A highly fragrant wine, bursting with a complex arrangement of red cherries, mulberries and lifted floral spicy notes. Rich red and black fruits on the palate are supported by supple velvet tannins resulting in a long and elegant finish.

Haselgrove Switch GSM 2020

Selected from two parcels of Grenache, four parcels of Shiraz and one parcel of Mourvèdre all from different micro climates in McLaren Vale. The two Grenache parcels come from two separate vineyards near Aldinga. The first provides brooding dark fruit with strong structural tannins, the second Grenache which is closer to Willunga produces more red fruit and finer tannins. The Shiraz parcels for this blend were selected for their brighter fruit profiles. The Mourvedre was selected from our own vineyard near McLaren Flat and shows spicy lift and structural tannins.

This Charles Melton wine is very rich and opulent with high quality fruit showing lovely voluptuousness, ripe yet defined tannis, moderate oak and terrifically poised balanced. The Charles Melton Nine Popes Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2016 wine is from Barossa Valley, South Australia.

Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles GMS 2023

Cuvée Juveniles was created as a ‘Cotes Du Rhone’ inspired bistro wine from the classic Barossa varieties of Grenache & Mataro (Mourvedre) from mostly unirrigated old vine vineyards.

Here in the Barossa Valley the varieties grenache, mataro and shiraz all stand in their own right, however in blending, their strengths create a complex wine of solid, earthy structure.

Henschke Johann's Garden Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2022

Named as a tribute to the early Silesian community of the Barossa, many of whom carried the first name of Johann. Their toil, perseverance and conservatism in hardship has meant that the many generations that followed rejoiced in the riches of their prudent efforts. This blend is just one of those blessings. The traditions and culture have survived to this day, including the traditional winemaking techniques of open-top fermentation used in this grenache blend. It is produced from low-yielding Barossa Survivor Vines, categorised by the Barossa Old Vine Charter as vines that are equal or greater than 70 years old. These gnarled, dry-grown bush and trellised vines are grown on limestone soils from selected vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Barossa growers traditionally referred to their vineyard as their ‘garden’, from the German weingarten.

Alkina Kin Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2024

An exclusive blend for Qantas Wine. This is bright, fresh GSM and nothing like the heavy, oaky styles of yesteryear. Cranberry and cherry lead the way, with rhubarb and alpine herbs dancing through the middle. Vibrant fruit with savoury edges. The palate is juicy, with fruit sweetness carried by fine acid and supple tannin.

An approachable, fruit driven wine style that is versatile with food.

Alkina Old Quarter GSM 2022

This blend of Grenache Shiraz Mataro allows us the opportunity to create great wines through combining different Polygons. The characteristics of the Old Quarter are underpinned by the Grenache from Polygon 4 which consists of schist and clay which is complemented with the lighter Grenache from Polygon 2 which contains hard schist and wind blown limestone. These components were blended with the Mataro from P6 and the Shiraz from P8 & P7.
