Starward Description

Starward 100 Proof Single Malt Whisky 50% 700ml

Bottled at a higher ABV of 50% and non chill filtered, this whisky is fully matured in 100% American oak red wine barrels, predominantly sourced from the Barossa Valley. These barrels, which previously held big Australian bold reds like cabernet and shiraz, offer a fuller and richer mouthfeel to this single malt whisky. Starward 100 Proof Single Malt Whiskey is blended in batches, meaning each batch will be unique but will maintain the core flavour profile and intensity.

Starward Nova Single Malt Australian Whisky 700ml

Winner of Best Australian Whisky Innovator and crowned Best Craft Distilled Whisky in the world in 2016, Starward Nova is an impeccable reflection of what whisky can be. This unique expression draws most of its influence from the vibrancy of Australian red wines.

For this whisky, Australian red wine barrels have been individually selected and kept exactly as they leave the winery to take advantage of a uniquely Australian red wine profile. The barrels are not charred, to retain the wine to oak character.
