Coldstream Hills Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2023

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. Situated in the picturesque Yarra Valley east of Melbourne, the steep close-planted vineyards of Coldstream Hills have become a signature of the region. Penfolds Great Grandfather Rare Tawny (Minimum average blend of 30 years)

Great Grandfather Rare Tawny was created in 1994 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Penfolds. Subsequent blending material has been sourced from stage six of the ‘Grandfather Solera’ and individual batches of maturing Grandfather that are identified as having exceptional quality. These components are further aged before being blended and introduced into the ‘Great Grandfather Solera’. After an initial launch of exactly 1994 bottles to commemorate the year of its inaugural release, Great Grandfather is only ever released in limited quantities to ensure the age and quality of the style is never compromised. With a minimum average blended age of 30 years, Penfolds Great Grandfather Rare Tawny delivers a beguiling mix of age, structure, strength and complexity with each and every sip.

Black and Ginger Lorelei Gewurtztraminer 2022

100% Gewurztraminer, Henty, Victoria. Lifted fresh and perfumed aromas of grated ginger, rose petal, lychees and rockmelon that lead you into the glass. Pickled ginger with strawberry and honey melon flavours, rounded, soft and balanced.  Made in a dry wine style, this wine has a touch of residual sugar.  Lorelei is a German legend of a beautiful woman, transformed into a siren who lured fishermen to their destruction on the Rhine River.  We chose to name our wine Lorelei because of the seductive aromas that lure you in for another glass. To this day a statue of Lorelei sits in the middle of the Rhine River.  Made with fruit sourced from an amazing secret vineyard in Victoria’s south west. 

Clonakilla Hilltops Shiraz 2023

This shiraz is made from grapes selected from vineyards in the Hilltops district around Young on the south-western slopes of New South Wales. 2023 is the third in a series of cool years in the Hilltops region. You can taste the freshness and complexity the cooler season has brought to the wine. There is plenty of dark berry fruit here along with red fruit and floral notes which bring lift and intrigue to the perfume.

Tyrrells Vat 9 Hunter Valley Shiraz 2021

Vibrant purple in colour, a regal nose showing lifted spice, dark fruits and subtle hint of oak. The palate is medium-bodied showing great intensity and the velvety texture that is seen in the best wines from this vintage. The palate structure is effortless with no rough edges showing wonderful balance of fruit, acid, oak and tannin.
