Henschke Marble Angel Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Halliday Rating: 95 Points
Henschke are renowned for producing terroir-driven, vintage-specific wines predominantly from the Eden Valley, where they first planted vines in 1862. Today they are best known for their Hill of Grace Shiraz; a serious rival for Penfolds Grange.

Expanding their horizons, Henschke released the Marble Angel Cabernet Sauvignon from the limestone rich soils of the Barossa Valley. The synergy between limestone and cabernet is the essence of the wine's exquisite flavour and structural profile. Complex and elegant, bold and balanced, it is representative of both region and producer.
The 2014 vintage is only the third release of the Marble Angel Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine destined to live for decades.
