Jim Barry has been named the 2020 Halliday Wine Companion Winery of the Year. Their, 2017 Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon which was first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of its vineyard, the old Coonawarra Penola cricket ground.

The wine, like previous vintages, shows great line and length. Classic cabernet notes of berry compote and dark cherry combine with nuances of olive leaf and lifted red florals on the nose. The palate is lively with bright red berries and dark cherry fruit. The wine has an even pull through the palate with fine tannins and a moreish finish.
