The Marquis de Goulaine Cuvee Cremant de Loire Brut NV offers aromas of lemon, tangerine and exotic fruits. The palate is well structured with persistent effervescence and a touch of lemon and berry fruits. Chateau de Goulaine has over a thousand years of history to its name. It is the oldest winery still in business today in Europe and probably the third oldest commercial enterprise in the world. The estate itself is one of the last Loire Chateaux to still be producing wine. Cremant de Loire is produced as is champagne with a second fermentation in the bottle and ageing for a least 18 months. Its is perfect for celebration and as an aperitif.
