Overview
If there is one defining characteristic of Tahbilk it would be history in a glass. Tahbilk's cabernet shiraz was first released in the 1950's and is thought to be the first 'estate grown' version of this quintessential Australian blend. In this mixed twin pack enjoy a bottle of the 2016 Old Vine Shiraz Cabernet alongside the Tahbilk 1927 Vines Marsanne 2014 made from rare, old vine, estate grown marsanne (planted in 1927).

The Tahbilk '1927 Vines' Marsanne 2014 features a tightly woven nose and flavours of ginger spice, nashi fruit, lime and citrus notes on the palate. These limited release wines are produced from the Estates 1927 planted Marsanne vines, some of the oldest in the world. The fruit is harvested early at high natural acid levels, no chemicals are added and the juice becomes fully oxidised.
The Tahbilk Old Vines Cabernet Shiraz 2016 offers herbal and cedar notes. The palate features flavours of bay leaf, mint and pepper weave seamlessly around dark berry, spice and plum fruits.
