Flavours at after-palate are all just-ripe white nectarine and mandarin peel.

Rich and round with fine tannins this is one to enjoy with family and friends.

The 2019 Heirloom McLaren Vale Touriga offers aromas of graphite and lead, galvanised iron, fountain pen ink, lavender, rosemary, plum skin, dried tangerine peel and slate. The front-palate bursts with undiminishing fruit plushness, cranberry, blueberry, boysenberry, mulberry and reduced plums. The acid and the tannins - the latter which are so infinitely fine - drive the line and length of this powerful yet friendly red wine. It is beguilingly approachable and yet also savoury. A rewarding and satisfying finish.
