Alma Mora wines are produced by the Finca Las Moras winemaking team from fruit grown in the Zonda Valley in San Juan province, at an altitude of around 900m above sea level. Zonda Valley is one of the three key regions/valleys within the San Juan province and the western most in terms of location. This higher altitude provides greater temperature variation between day and night, and tends to provide more distinctive and deeper fruit characteristics than fruit grown at lower altitudes. This is reflected in the Malbec and Pinot Grigio that we bring into Australia, as these wines offer great purity and flavour, and represent excellent value for money.
