”Vinified in small batches, mostly whole berries and whole bunches, with natural yeast. Matured 18 months in French and American 500L puncheons. Love the spice! Not sure if the intensity of the spice can be put down to the close-planted vineyard (14,000 vines/ha), but it's quite a scene stealer. Blue fruits, black cherry, dark chocolate-covered licorice and a touch of jubey pastille sweetness, all with lift and verve.”
