Pater is Latin for Father, and this series is a tribute to the five generations of fathers and their rare unbroken chain of succession. Their toil, innovation and diversity shaped the land from its native bush into a family farm on which Aylesbury Estate now resides, capturing the essence of the Ferguson Valley in each bottle. A beautifully crafted Chardonnay made from small batches of whole bunch-pressed, wild fermented fruit. Careful use of French oak adds complexity and depth to the wine's delicate characters.
