”This appealing Chardonnay is a mix of fruit from the Eden Valley and the Barossa. The fruit was destemmed and pressed to a mix of stainless steel and new French oak (10%) for up to two weeks, followed by lees stirring for a further two months. Deep lemon colour, this is a delightfully fresh style, with minerally hints, garden herbs, citrus and even a character like crisp pears. The palate reveals more plush stonefruit notes with a river-stone backing. A mid-length style for drinking now and over the next two to four years.”
