These Bethany Reserve wines celebrate two chapters of Schrapel family history. The LE Shiraz commemorates the dedication of Lawrence and Edna Schrapel. These fourth generation vignerons passed the Schrapel vineyards to their sons, Geoff and Robert. The LE Shiraz expresses the true characteristics of Shiraz grown on the eastern edge of the Barossa Ranges. We make the GR Shiraz from very old, low yielding vines from the Schrapel family vineyards. The fruit is harvested at optimum flavour development and complexity. The GR Shiraz has been inducted into Barossa Trust Mark. This recognises products and experiences that show achievement and distinction in origin, integrity, quality, environment and community.
