The village of Bethany was the first settlement in the Barossa Valley, established in 1842. The first vines on Bethany Estate were planted in 1852, the beginning of a passion and tradition that continues on today within the Schrapel family, six generations later. First Village reflects the folkloric style of Bethanys German heritage, and depicts scenes telling the story of the establishment of the village. Bring a bottle to the next family dinner and draw out some stories from your heritage.

”Sourced from the Eastern Barossa ridge, a mix of whole berries and judicious whole bunches. Only 11% new oak. This has all those lovely fragrant grenache lifts to begin, cherry-ish and earthy and spicy, juicy and almost tangy to drink. A dash of salines give added palate seasoning. In the moreish zone. ”
