The palate has a concentration of flavour that is very impressive indeed. The tannins are consistently plump and pervasive. This isn't strictly in the 'new wave' of Margaret River shiraz/syrah styles – often silky, red-fruited and slippery – but it makes a strong statement about the potential concentration and density of flavour in the region.”
