Dalwhinnie is an iconic Victorian wine producer with vineyards first planted in 1976 at a unique high altitude site in the Pyrenees region. The resulting wines are expressive, cool climate styles which are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs alike. Fruit was 100% hand picked and pressed directly to barrel for fermentation in largely older oak puncheons and barriques. Post fermentation, the wine was matured for six months in barrel.

”Light yellow colour. Fine, subtle and fairly straightforward chalky-mineral, creamy citrus aromas and flavours, tense and bright with fresh acidity and a cleansing finish. Good tension and line. This will reward a bit more cellar time.”
