SKU: HARHRBSHZ18
An elegant and balanced wine made using Thomas Hardy's traditional methods of blending wine from the best regions in Australia to produce the best wine possible. Premium parcels of cabernet from Margaret River, Frankland River, McLaren Vale and Eden Valley were hand-picked and berry sorted, before undergoing a cool natural open fermentation, basket pressing and ageing in fine grain French oak.

Succulent Ribeye

”Matured in 25% new French oak (François Frères, Damy and Sirugue barrels). Fruit from McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Frankland River. A richly flavoured wine boasting an uncanny fidelity to each subregion in the blend, although interregional blending could be accused of obfuscating it. The Frankland River sachet of spice, iodine, pepper and wiry tannins leads the fray. The Adelaide Hills' iodine lift; McLaren Valet's core of ripe cherry stuffing at the core, all backups. The oak superlative. The tannins maketh the wine, their savoury buttressing and line of poise drawing me in for a second glass.”
