Founded in 1785, Heidsieck & CO Monopole is one of the oldest Houses in Champagne. This historical legacy is present in each of these wines, recognised for their exceptional oenological and often award-winning qualities. The bouquet is powerful and generous. It expresses bold initial notes presaging a full, fruity taste that is nicely structured. This is an ideal apéritif champagne that is powerful, vigorous and highly vivacious.

A round, subtle attack and good length dominated by fruit – peaches, cherry plums and oranges. Freshness, elegance and delicacy emerge gently throughout the entire tasting. Very pleasant on the palate.

”A very old Champagne House, Heidsieck was founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck from Germany. The Heidsieck Champagnes were widely distributed internationally in the early years of the 20th century, often sold with alluring Art Nouveau advertisements, including a beautiful one (1901) by the extremely well-known Czech artist, Alfonse Mucha. After a number of name-changes and ‘spin-offs’, Heidsieck Monopole is today a fine quality House based in Reims. This expression continues the tradition of ‘La Belle Époque’. Pale lemon-hued with minuscule bubbles, the wine exhibits richness of yellow fruits and creamy autolysis. Brut style, the light-bodied palate is elegant and linear structured with brisk acidity and satin mousse texture. Delicate and lingering, the wine is perfect for oysters-on-the-half-shell or in a Champagne-cream sauce.”
