Red - big, bold, full-bodied

Palate

Savoury, spicy and sweet. This is a restrained Barossan - all black and dark chocolates and reduced plum fruit. Blackberries ripe, mineral salts, iron and myriad winter berries. It is mouth-coating but also linear, with an underlying acidity drawing the wine to a satisfying close. The textural tannins glide alongside the acidity providing balance and an even, gentle pace - more of a bare trot than a canter.
