”A range of parcels of top notch Shiraz from the Frankland River/Great Southern are fermented discretely, with the inclusion of whole berries. Maturation is for nine months in older barriques, hogsheads and puncheons. Deep maroon/magenta hue here, there are an array of intriguing aromas including dry herbs, cold tea, mushrooms, cocoa powder, dry forests and black fruits. A soft and supple texture, there is good intensity here for the full length of the wine. Herbal notes to the fore on the palate, there is some early complexity emerging. With a very persistent finis, enjoy this for six to twelve years.”
