The Malabar Shiraz is produced from an isolated parcel of fruit selected from Leogate Estates, 55 year old, Brokenback Vineyard and produced in very limited quantities from low yielding, dry grown vines. The 2019 vintage received 95 points in the James Halliday Wine Companion and is currently served on Qantas First Class.

This is a vibrant and fresh expression of the grape with a lovely mix of red and blue fruits with delicate spicy and peppery notes. The tannins are fine and polished and combine well with the gentle use of French oak barrels, giving the medium bodied wine great length of flavour.
