SKU: MIHABAPIN21
A 'goldilocks' vintage of high yields and high quality from the Wightwick Vineyard, perched at 500 meters above sea level, just north of Ballarat in the Central Highlands of Victoria. 2021 was a cool and slow ripening vintage that required much hands on work to nurture the fruit through to harvest but was perfect for aroma and flavour development. A wine with freshness and real presence and depth of flavour. It's a ripper!

”Hand-picked fruit, 25% whole bunches, fermented wild. Matured 8 months in French oak (20% new). You know when a wine is good, it has presence. This '21 pinot has it, from the lifted freshness of florals, red cherries, cranberries, earthy beetroot and whole-bunch herbals, to the cut and thrust of sapid, fine tannins and flash of dark chocolate and smoky oak to close. It's a ripper.”
