The Yangarra High Sands Grenache from Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, is considered the pinnacle of Australia’s grenache wines, it was rated 97 points by the Halliday Wine Companion and usually retails for $300. The Flying Goose Shiraz, also from McLaren Vale, retails for $150, and is also rated at 97 points, and completing the trifecta is the Alambra Shiraz from Barossa producer Heirloom Vineyards, rated 97 points.
