Margaret River, deservedly, has become Australia’s spiritual home of cabernet sauvignon, and naturally the classic Bordeaux blend of cabernet and merlot. This wine is from a sustainably certified estate, established and run by the same family since 1998, and the vineyards they initially purchased for the estate were planted in 1973 and were amongst the founding vineyards of the region. This outstanding cabernet merlot is medium bodied, silkily textured, with fine grained tannins and delicious black and red berry flavours.
