Paisley winemaker Derek Fitzgerald 90’s love-affair with dance parties and techno music has inspired the "Mixed By" range of wines. The passion morphed with his school nickname Deadly Derek. He used to make CD for friends with his best DJ mixes and signed them Mixed by DJ Deadly. The Amplifier Chardonnay is just another one of his creations.

White - rich, mouth filling, full-bodied
Palate
The palate is mid weighted but with good flavour intensity. It shows succulent white peach and tinned pear juice with hints of mint and mushy peas. With a lovely pithy texture on the palate due to leaving the wine on lees in French oak, the oak also imparting subtle clove and biscuity notes. With crisp balanced acidity and good drive to the finish it is a lovely approachable wine.

”Like many of the Paisley wines, this Chardonnay has a name which works as a nod to the music industry, thanks to the interests and history of the man behind it all, Derek Fitzgerald. This young and fresh Chardonnay from Padthaway has seen the influence of French oak. The colour here is a pale straw. This is soft and approachable, quite peachy and with stone fruit notes. There is a soft, gentle and alluring texture and medium length. For me, this is the ultimate, early-drinking crowd pleaser. Enjoy it now and for the next three years.”
