”Pale straw with the merest flash of green in the glass and aromas of juicy white peach, nectarine, lemon and grapefruit. Hints of distant struck match, oatmeal, almond paste, cinnamon, candle nut, cashewy oak, quince, macadamia butter and white flowers. A wonderfully pure release this year, although that is no great surprise with this wine. The aromas and flavours are nicely delineated. The wine's travel is textural and nicely focused, with a fine, saline mineral aspect to its acidity and a finish that carries on for a good time.”
