”Deep magenta/crimson in the glass with lovely ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry fruits studded with mixed spice, dried herbs, cherry conserve, cedar, licorice and earth. Aromatically it's got a twang of an Australian accent, but the structure and palate are all Bordeaux, with gravelly tannins cutting through the wine and a finish that shows fine structural heft.”
