McLaren Vale exhibits patchwork diversity and with this comes some truly unique and amazing vineyards. The Richard Hamilton Single Vineyard series showcases fruit from some of the greatest sites in the region, with a focus on the region’s best performing varietals. A set of intensely flavoured and coloured red wines that display finesse, power, structure and persistence and offer something for every occasion. Hut Eleven is an individual 5 acre vineyard planted on sandy organic loam over compacted limestone in the historic Hut Block. The finest parcels of old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, with low yielding vines that are pruned and trained to allow dappled light to slowly ripen the fruit. Selectively planted with multiple clones best suited to the subtle temperature changes as the altitude drops with the gentle sloping of the vineyard.
