”Excessive alcohol/fruit ripeness and cabernet franc are not good bedfellows. Without making excuses, this is apparently made to drink young and fresh. In a way, aside from warmth on the finish, this works. Very ripe plump fruit, still retaining the essence of cab franc though, and the palate is amazingly silky. Tannins have a nice persuasion, the spice and cherry tones added bonuses.”
