Schild Estate, a family winery in South Australia's Barossa Valley, traces its roots to 1952 when Ben Schild acquired the first vineyards, some dating back to 1847. The winery leverages 11 diverse vineyard sites across the Southern Barossa, benefiting from varied soils and microclimates. The 2021 Barossa Valley vintage was exceptional, marked by a cooler, milder growing season that fostered optimal fruit development. This familial commitment and prime Barossa land shape the character of their wines.

”Shiraz sourced from the Narrow Road vineyard in Rowland Flat; aged for 18–24 months in oak. Notes like cherry pie with additional satsuma plum and blackberry fruits are cut with spice, dark chocolate, purple flowers, chocolate bullets and Barossa earth. Plenty of fruit depth, but there is a lovely freshness to its form with fine tannin, bright acidity and a long, fruit-pure finish.”
