Sourced from 75 - 150 year old vineyards, the fruit fermented separately and then meticulously blended by winemaker Peter Schell to make this Barossa classic. ”Unfiltered. Pete Schell adapts the blend of Esprit according to the season, and the drought year of 2019 features a strong grenache lead (74%, with 21% cinsault and 5% mataro). Dark berry fruits take on a savoury mood, layered with thyme and underscored by fine, drying tannins. The stress of the season contracts the finish a little, making this a vintage for the short term.”
