As always, this is a very individual Chardonnay, showing intense pink grapefruit with lemon rind aromas and hints of attractive oak. The palate is expansive, with the acid buoyant throughout rather than a driving directive force. This is certainly an intriguing Chardonnay, with a basket full of different characters, from creamy smoky earthy mushroom to sweet lemon and honey. There is a nice textural presence which will no doubt build with more time.
