SKU: TAHMARSAN21
One of the world's rarest grape varieties, with its origins in the Northern Rhone and Hermitage regions of France, Tahbilk's history with Marsanne can be traced back to 1860s when White Hermitage cuttings were sourced from St Hubert's Vineyard in Victoria's Yarra Valley. The grape was in fact Marsanne, and although none of these original plantings have survived, the Estate has the world's largest single holding of varietal and produces Marsanne from vines established in 1927, which are amongst the oldest in the world.

”The Nagambie Lakes shared the great vintage for whites, and Tahbilk didn't miss out here, oozing with honeysuckle, lime and custard apple, the signature of acidity neatly tying the parcel up for now or in a decade or 2. It's a deadset gold medal.”
