This is in our portfolio of Regional Range wines; wines from specific sub-regions of the Great Southern. This Sauvignon Blanc is all from our Langton vineyard, Mt Barker. There was a lot of seasonal variation with the wet winter followed by a hot dry summer then the early onset of Autumn! However, vines are very resilient and the moderate crops still ripened well with the fruit harvested early March and the juice fermented at cool temperatures to retain maximum flavour.

Palate

Beautifully balanced, this wine has the zesty freshness as expected in a young wine along with good palate weight. With light (near ripe) tropical fruit flavours of lychee and passionfruit this is well flavoured Sauv Blanc that can be enjoyed with or without a meal. Its delicious citrussy acidity provides its good clean finish.
