The inspiration for this wine traces back to the Dolomites legend of the giant Haunold. Haunold grew enormous after drinking from a miraculous mountain spring, and though he saved the local villagers from invasion, his exorbitant daily demands—including a barrel of wine—led to his capture and imprisonment within the mountain. Named Mystic Spring, these wines are sourced exclusively from low-yielding Estate plantings. They expertly unite the inherent intensity, definition, and purity of the fruit with the precise and delicate winemaking style that is the hallmark of Wills Domain.
